The Council of Minister’s 100 Day Plan includes the development of a Government Engagement Framework (formerly the 'Policy Inclusion Framework'). The Framework helps government officials to engage the public on proposals and policy matters. Good engagement ensures that decisions are more responsive to Islanders' concerns.
The proposed Framework is based on the engagement pyramid structure below:

The consultation document provides a summary of the draft Framework. This includes guidance for each level of the pyramid. It also includes good practice principles and an engagement toolkit.
Please take 5 minutes to tell us what you think of the Framework as a tool for improving how Islanders engage with Government. We really value your feedback and will apply it to making this tool (and any related training offers) as effective as it can be.
