Let's Talk Trade

1. Introduction

Issued by the Ministry of External Relations

The UK electorate voted in a referendum on 23rd June 2016 and decided to leave the European Union. Once the UK leave the EU, Jersey's approach to external trade will need to continue to adapt. 'No change' will not be an option and the island may have difficult choices to make as the negotiations progress. Your feedback and engagement at this early state will help us to understand the issues most important to Islanders, which will help inform the development of future trade negotiations and feed into Jersey's ongoing engagement with the UK government to ensure the best outcome for Jersey.
